A nice post of Chris Mc Leod about setting up a php stack on os X brought the little nifty tool php-cs-fixer to my attention.
As I am experiencing quite a shift in my development (and testing) paradigms I thought I will give it a try and install it.
It’s really dead simple. I used the wget based way (see https://github.com/fabpot/PHP-CS-Fixer for details):

Just don’t forget to call

to make it executable.

Well, that’s it, you can run it by simply calling:

updating the binary is as simple as:

Note: Depending on your environment it might be necessary to prefix these commands with “sudo”.
